Nauvoo Illinois

December 29, 2009

I have shot a lot of temples on film when I originally started this goal.  Nauvoo was one of these.  I had the privilege of photographing Nauvoo about 7 years ago when I was helping one of my brothers move across the country.  We were only able to stop for a few minutes but I got some shots.  I recently traveled through Nauvoo but did not have my SLR.  I only had a point and shoot.  I was satisfied with the shots I was able to get but I am kind of spoiled since my passion for photography started with an SLR in my hands and it just isn’t the same with a point and shoot.

St. Louis Missouri

December 29, 2009

I traveled to Tennessee a few months ago to bring a car back to Utah and along the way I stopped by the St. Louis Missouri Temple and got a couple of quick shots.  I only had my point and shoot so they are not the best.  I think it is a pretty temple and I want to go back some day and get some better shots.

Kona Hawaii

December 26, 2009

I recently traveled to the Big Island of Hawaii to assist another photographer on a wedding. While there I got the opportunity to shoot the Kona Temple. Unfortunately I was not able to get very many shots of it. Oh well, guess I will just have to go back in the future. I am perfectly ok with that! Here are the few shots I was able to get.
